Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha

Distance: 50 Km

Driving Time: 1 Hour

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport meet our representative & transfer to Gran Melia or Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. Later our safari manager will meet you to provide a detailed safari briefing before leaving you to enjoy the great weather of Arusha City.

Day 2 - Lemala Ngorongoro

Lemala Ngorongoro is intimately set in a delightful ancient acacia forest close to the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Game drives from camp may start as early as 6.15am and guests can be amongst Ngorongoro’s abundant wildlife within 10-15 minutes - crucial for photographers who demand the best light conditions and well ahead of the day visitor crowds.

Arrive and get comfortable at the lovely Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp. Relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the area and camp. Depending on your arrival time you may visit the crater today or wait for the morning.

Day 3 - Lemala Ngorongoro

Crater Tour and activities. You can enjoy the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater game drives from here on shared or on exclusive use basis. Our vehicles have charging facilities and a fridge with cold drinks. Our vehicles are driven by excellent guides who will ensure you see the best of what Ngorongoro has to offer - you'll have an amazing day!

Day 4 - Lemala Ewanjan Camp Arrival Day

On the final day at Lemala Ngorongoro you may either depart for your onwards journey or take another visit into the Crater for another amazing experience before heading onwards to your next destination - the Serengeti.

Upon arrival at Lemala Ewanjan Camp you will be greeted by staff and shown to your accommodation to get settled in. Following lunch you will have the chance to head out on your first drive in the Serengeti National Park, enjoy some sundowners then head back to the camp for dinner.

Day 5 & Day 6 - Serengeti National Park

Over the next two days you will explore the famous Serengeti National Park, with game drives in a special safari vehicle. You will also have a chance to go for an optional balloon excursion (additional cost).

The Seronera region of the Serengeti is an important wildlife transition zone between the southern grasslands and the northern woodlands and is renowned for its year-round game viewing due to its abundance of water in the many rivers, as well as for its large populations of resident big cats. Additionally, between April and June, and again between November and January, this area is crossed by the annual wildebeest migration, which provides always thrilling wildlife drama.​

Day 7 - Departure Day

Following breakfast you will bid farewell to the beautiful Lemala Ewanjan Camp as you depart with nothing but photos and fond memories of your Safari experience. You will board a flight from the closest airstrip in the Serengeti and fly south to Kilimanjaro Airport.

You will need to fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in the north-east of the country to start this safari experience. 

You need a visa to enter Tanzania. Tanzania has introduced an online visa application form that must be submitted and approved online ahead of travel.

It is also possible to get some single-entry visas on arrival in Tanzania at the main points of entry if you meet all the requirements for entry. You may also be asked to provide proof of your return journey. For further information about visas visit the Tanzanian immigration website.
