Looking for US BDM to cover: East Coast, South, Mid West, West Coast and Canada


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Managers to join our dynamic team. As the Business Development Manager for our portfolio of hotels, you will play a critical role in promoting and selling our collection of exceptional hotels to travel advisors and direct consumers. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company while establishing and nurturing strong relationships within the travel industry.


Responsibilities:


1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:

  • Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to promote our hotel portfolio to travel advisors, travel agencies, and tour operators.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target markets to expand our customer base.


2. Build and Manage Relationships:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with travel advisors, travel agencies, and key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Network and attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and build a robust professional network.


3. Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations to travel advisors and potential customers to showcase the unique features and benefits of our hotels.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with travel advisors and consumers to ensure mutual satisfaction and sustainable partnerships.


4. Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of each hotel in the portfolio, including unique selling points, amenities, and target demographics.
  • Provide training and support to travel advisors on our hotel offerings, enabling them to confidently promote and sell our properties.


5. Sales Performance Analysis:

  • Track and analyze sales data and performance metrics regularly to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to management on sales achievements and market trends.


Requirements:


  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field within the luxury travel industry, ideally with an existing network of luxury advisors and partner contacts. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse audience.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to secure profitable partnerships.
  • Adept at building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including travel advisor networks and online distribution channels.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented with a passion for sales and achieving targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.


Locations / Contract Terms:


  • Flexible, work from home 
  • Part time hours as needed, ideal for someone looking for additional supplemental income / extra work
